How Hari Chandana Pioneered She Toilets for Improved Sanitation  

Lack of safe, accessible public toilets disproportionately affects women limiting their mobility, health, safety and ability to work. To address this, Hyderabad GHMC under Hari Chandana installed She Toilets – essentially portable toilet cabins thoughtfully designed keeping women’s needs in mind. #sanitation #womenempowerment

Detached from sewer lines allowing flexible placement, Chandana ensured they have running water, dustbins, hook for bags/clothes and well-lit interiors for safety.
